This apartment loft on the Plateau Mont-Royal is the ideal vacation rental in downtown Montreal. This charming furnished flat is set in a gorgeous residence from 1903. The building has been the laureat of 1998 Montreal Architectural Heritage contest. Chateau Frontenac, in Quebec city has greatly inspired the architect Joseph Emile Vanier hence its original name "Residence Frontenac".

 

 

Our furnished apartment is composed of a cosy bedroom, a comfortable small living room, a kitchen opened onto a large dining room and a gorgeous bathroom. These open spaces give a light and airy feel to the apartment.

Entirely redecorated and renovated in 2005, the apartment is graced by 6 windows. This contributes to making this charming place full of light, sheltered in a decor of wood and sereine colors. The architectural features of the building are outstanding and the interior furnishings are comfortable.

A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal for your cooking inspiration during your stay in our lovely flat. Spices, coffee, tea, cleaning products are at your disposal. The kitchen is equiped with dinningware and cookingware for 6 persons.For a quiet night at home, we offer cable colour TV and a DVD player as well as a CD player and connection to WIFI Internet.

Appreciate the opportunity to eat outside or relax while reading a book and enjoying an aperitif on our little balcony (about 2 sq.m).

If you come by car, there is a public underground parking just off the Carré Saint-Louis, non-resident parking zone is also available right in front of our building.

Choose the finest dining from St-Denis street or Prince Arthur's both less than 2 minut walk from you vacation rental! The atmosphere is very special and lively, you also have the chance of spending your vacation in a furnished holiday rental just off the Square St-Louis, this is a very prestigious and sought after address on the Plateau.

Sherbrooke Metro station (orange line) is located just 1minute walk from the apartment.

Once we receive your booking inquiry, we will inform you rapidly about the availability of the apartment. We will forward you a Rent Proposal via email. This proposal will be outlining the information pertinent to the booking procedures and payment requirements.

The rental of the apartment will be quoted to you in Cad dollars.

When booking accomodation, guests are asked to pay a deposit for the reservation.

By sending your payment, you confirm your formal acceptance of compliance to the renting conditions described in the rent proposal.

We will be happy to forward you our bank account details if you choose this payment method. Please specify to your bank that you will cover the sending and reception fees. If you are sending payment from Australia or South Africa, additional charges may apply at reception. Any charges will be at guest's expense.

Checks: Personal checks are also accepted as long as they are certified by your bank.

Money Orders: We accept bank drafts. This draft must be drawn in Cad dollars and sent special delivery mail to make sure it arrives safely and rapidly.

We have discontinued our collaboration with Paypal, therefore we regret we cannot accept credit cards for the moment.
Once we have received your initial reservation deposit, the booking will be secured on our calendar. A rent receipt will also be forwarded to you with all the necessary information (directions and apartment street address, building entry codes, apartment's telephone number and our contact detail as well as a recap of what to pay upon arrival).

As soon as you can, please contact us to let us know about your flight details and arrival time this will help us prepare for your arrival and greeting.
On your day of arrival, we will be there to greet you with a smile, check you in your apartment and give you the keys. We will also indicate any pertinent information concerning the use of the apartment's appliances and answer any of your questions concerning the area.

Check-in takes place at 14h00. In the case that there are no previous customer leaving that day, you may be able to check-in a little earlier. This is to be arranged prior to arrival.

As an indication, allow 1:00 to 1:30 hours between landing, customs clearance, luggage pickup, public transportation or taxi to the flat before you get to the apartment. About 30-45 minutes if you arrive by train and 20 minutes if you arrive at Berri Bus station.

The rental balance payment and the security deposit shall be paid at check-in by cash (USD, CAD) or with Travelers Checks in CAD only. Your payment arrangements must be confirmed with us prior to departure. We accept that the security deposit be a personal check for the equivalent in your own currency as long as it is certified by your bank, otherwise we will request you to leave it in cash.

The contract will be signed between you and us. The rental contract period is a set date wich cannot be extended without the written consent of the owner. The number of guests may not exceed the amount written on your rental contract.

The security deposit of a vacation rental is established according to the length of your stay and shall be given to us upon check in. If upon checking out, and after completion of the inventory, nothing is reported damaged, lost or broken, the security deposit will be returned to you.

PLEASE NOTE that in most cases it is usually given back to you on departure or within the week of your return home through the same means your down payment was sent. If it is a check, it will be mailed back to you.

We reserves the right to replace or repair any breakage at Tenant's expenses and to deduct the costs from the security deposit accordingly . Breakage, loss or damage may postpone the Security Deposit's refund until after the repairs/replacement have been done. If the security deposit is insufficient to cover repair/replacement costs, Tenant agrees to pay the additional costs before his departure.
