Once we receive your booking inquiry, we will inform you rapidly about the Disponibilità of the apartment you have selected. We will forward you a Rent Proposal via email. This proposal will be outlining the information pertinent to the booking procedures and payment requirements.
The rental of the apartment will be quoted to you in Euros.
When booking accomodation, guests are asked to pay a deposi for the reservation and sign the terms and conditions.
By sending your payment, you confirm your formal acceptance of compliance to the renting conditions described in the terms and conditions .

We will be happy to forward you our bank account details if you choose this payment method. Banks usually charge a 10 euros fee for any payment we receive through wire transfer from abroad. Please make sure you add this amount to your reservation deposit and specify to your bank that you will cover the sending and reception fees. If you are sending payment from Australia or South Africa, additional charges may apply at reception.
Checks: Personal UK checks are also accepted.
Money Orders: We accept bank drafts made in the name of CHARMING HIDEAWAYS LTD. This draft must be drawn in sterling pounds and sent special delivery mail to make sure it arrives safely and rapidly.
We have discontinued our collaboration with Paypal, therefore we regret we cannot accept credit cards for the moment. |

Once we have received your initial reservation deposit, the booking will be secured on our calendar and the owner will be immediately notified. A rent receipt will also be forwarded to you with all the necessary information (directions and apartment street address, building entry codes, apartment's Telephono number and owner's contact detail as well as a recap of what to pay upon arrival).
As soon as you can, please contact the owner directly to let him know about your flight details and arrival time. He is responsible for welcoming you at his apartment and this will help him prepare for your arrival and greeting. |

On your day of arrival, the owner or his representative will be there to greet you with a smile, check you in your apartment and give you the keys. He will also indicate any pertinent information concerning the use of the apartment's appliances and answer any of your questions concerning the area.
If your plane is delayed, do not worry, the owner has the possibility to check its status in real time by phone or over the Internet and will be at the apartment right on time. Check-in takes place at 14h00. In the case that there are no previous customer leaving that day, you may be able to check-in a little earlier. This is to be arranged directly with the owner.
As an indication, allow 1:30 to 2:00 hours between landing, customs clearance, luggage pickup, public transportation or taxi to Paris before you get to the apartment.
The rental balance payment and the security deposit shall be paid when arriving at the your vacation rental in cash (Euros, USD, CAD) or with Travelers Checks in EUROS only. Your payment arrangements must be confirmed with the owner prior to departure. Sorry, the owners do not accept credit cards. Some owner accept that the security deposit be a personal check for the equivalent in your own currency. Please confirm this directly with the owner.
The contract will be signed between you and the owner. The rental contract period is a set date wich cannot be extended without the written consent of the owner. The number of guests may not exceed the amount written on your rental contract. CHARMING HIDEAWAYS LTD has no participation in this rental agreement. A visit of the premises and survey of the inventory must be done BEFORE you sign the contract.
As required by French law regulations, the owner will proceed to a quick inventory of the apartment before the signature of the lease. |

The security deposit of a vacation rental is established according to the length of your stay and shall be given to the owner upon check in. If upon checking out, and after completion of the inventory, nothing is reported damaged, lost or broken, the security deposit will be returned to you.
PLEASE NOTE that in most cases it is usually forwarded back to you within the week of your return home through the same means your down payment was sent. If it is a check, it will be mailed back to you. The owner may also be present at the time of your departure and hand you back your monies before you leave.
The owner reserves the right to replace or repair any breakage at Tenant's expenses and to deduct the costs from the security deposit accordingly . Breakage, loss or damage may postpone the Acconto's refund until after the repairs/replacement have been done.
If the security deposit is insufficient to cover repair/replacement costs, Tenant agrees to pay the additional costs before his departure. |
